In term four last year our junior and senior students who identified as Maori got an opportunity to visit the Puketeraki Marae in Karitane. Sandy Nelson who is our Area Schools coordinator for our COL group organised this event. This was another wonderful day of learning new knowledge and skills, experiencing Tikanga Maori while strengthening both students and teachers relationships with our fellow area schools. Sandy is looking at organising another day like this for term four this year.
